O Happy Halloween! Do you remember when you were young the great anticipation for Halloween? I do. There’s a story circulating around my family about a time when I came up with a costume that, at 5, I thought was the most creative, and spookiest EVER!!!!!
Now I was a precarious child, surprise, surprise because I’m still that way at the wonderful old age of 51. One year, being relatively new to the traditions of Halloween, and the whole costume thing; I thought and thought about what I was going to be for Halloween. I was in Kindergarten that year, and it had to be the best costume anyone had ever had. No fairies, scarecrows, Minnie Mouse, or anything else would do. My mom was a fantastic seamstress, and she could whip up anything I wanted to be so I thought about if for days; possibly a month.
Finally the day came when I had made up my mind, and with great pride I turned my freckled, red-headed face to my mom and told her I wanted to be a GHOST!!!! I was so proud.
